Congratulations on establishing your own blog!  Now’s the time to reflect upon the state of your scholarly practice.  Be authentic, be fearless.  It’s just you, me, and one or two of your friends.  So ponder your strengths, ponder the places that need improvement.  Write it all here.  Write at least 500 words (yes, 500).  Get one person to look at your post and comment on it.  Comment on someone else’s.
