Due Date

Only assignments completed by the due date and time are eligible to receive full credit.

Assignments which are due the next day (homework) cannot be turned in late.

Assignments which are due in two or more days will be assigned a three-day late work period:

One day late: -10%                             Two days late: -20%                            Three days late: -30%

Students who do not submit an assignment by the end of the late work period will receive a zero for that assignment.

Computer Accessibility

 Given that workplace and college environments uniformly use online applications for daily activities, it is a requirement of this class that students have regular access to the Internet.  Since the school has computers earmarked for student use, the following information applies.

Computer based out-of-school assignments must be submitted in the format requested, i.e, Moodle, blog or Google Docs.  It is not acceptable for students to submit such assignments by an alternate method (email, paper).  Such submissions will not be accepted.

However, with the exception of blog posts (which must appear online but may be accepted on paper in draft form), assignments which must be submitted online will not typically be due in less than forty eight hours, allowing the student who has difficulty with Internet access time to make alternative arrangements.
